Lucille Fares was born in the UK, and soon after spent her formative years, initially in Cairo, then Asmara, Eritrea, East Africa. Following her education in the UK Lucille travelled the world extensively in her early career with BOAC, later rebranded British Airways, flying as a stewardess on VC10's and Concorde.
Her work has been enriched by years of extensive travel and exposure to many countries which ingrained a love and appreciation for regions and their respective cultures. Lucille especially developed an eye for architecture and detail which has stayed with her all her life. This eye and the regions in which she is working informs and is incorporated into her designs.
Upon entering the world of interior design she established her first office in Dubai UAE where she lived for the next 19 years. Since then she has been travelling between Europe and Canada and the USA
Lucille's work has been as diverse as her client base has been vast. She enjoys the challenge of bringing to each project a design which is tailored to each and every client, she rarely will repeat herself. Lucille's believes that the key to good design lies in listening to a client, interpreting their needs and dreams and delivering a finished project that exceeds the dreams whilst remaining a true reflection of who they are.
