My wife Penny and I first got a glimpse of who Lucille Fares was 12 years ago when visiting Pender Harbour British Columbia we fell in love with a development that she had designed. We had been looking at renovating our house in Vancouver so we tracked her down through the developer. Since that time she has renovated our house in Vancouver which was a great success and then helped us build a new house in Palm Desert California. She visited the sight once but came up with a fabulous layout and worked closely with the Architect to get the plans approved. Then once the project was underway talked to my contractor Doug Cooper virtually every day so that the detail work would be perfect. The house although modern has terrific finishing's such as crown moulding, built in cabinetry, incredible lighting detail, fabulous drapes, bedspreads and furniture. The house was finished in February 2014 and we love it. We subsequently embarked on the renovation of a waterfront apartment in Vancouver which Lucille helped us buy but when it came to renovating it she had left for the UK which was our loss. Presently she is coming to visit us in Palm Desert to see her finished work here. We cannot say enough about her talent, attention to detail and creativity.”
